VB.NET Developer - Finance

Job Description:
VB.NET/VB6 SQL DEVELOPER REQUIRED FINANCIAL TRADING ORGANISATION - My client are one of the most successful trading houses in london and are still expanding in the recession. They offer one of the most secure jobs in the finance industry. You'll be working on both front office, and back office applications. the client have specified that a finance background is desireable, however not essential. The plan is to migrate the majority of existing classic VB applications to VB.NET. This is a VB.NET Winforms role, with some ASP.NET. A lengthy development background important in VB/SQL Server and any prior experience migrating classic VB applications to VB.NET of interest. Experience in both VB and VB.NET essential, at least 2 years VB.NET. This particular finance firm are somewhat of a anomoly - they have the right work life/home life balance - usual office hours are 9-6pm.
