Job Description:
Hands-on SQL Server IT Manager 50k Surrey/South London Borders An IT service provider and distribution company requires a Hands-On IT Manager to support and manage a range of internal applications based on a Wintel and SQL Server infrastructure. The IT Manager will be responsible for all day to day maintenance and support of 150 person user base, including 1st to 3rd line support with a small team of reports. The IT Manager must have a proven track record of managing a small team in a very hands-on, fast moving and dynamic environment and possess excellent hands on SQL skills. IT Manager must be personable, confident, customer focussed and pragmatic in order to deal with a wide range of user support issues whilst ensuring IT systems are performing to their optimum ability. IT Managers must have a good awareness of IT Infrastructure and software solutions that will enhance the way IT supports the business and be persuasive with senior managers in order to drive new ideas through. This role would suit an IT Manager looking for a challenging, all-encompassing role that offers excellent job security.
