First Point is a small, professionally minded company with a distinct culture. We are not your typical recruitment consultancy. This stems from the reason the company was set up - a response to the dominance of sales environments within IT Recruitment and a perceived lack of real Consultancy skills in the profession. Consultants who work for us take pride in their job, and although they have one of the best commission packages in the business, the paramount motivation is in doing a good job, retaining business and building a reputation. There are no rigid targets at First Point. Not for calls, not for interviews, placements or any other aspect area of recruitment. We believe in fostering trust in our staff to do a good job rather than having them feel forced to conform to inflexible KPIs. We are very much against bureaucracy and empower our consultants to make their own choices regarding who they work with and at what rates they work.
