As well as sourcing and screening we spend some of our time developing business. We've included this section on the website as it seems that many potential clients are researching us following an approach by one of our Consultants - it should cover your immediate questions.
- We will agree rates and terms very quickly and by phone. We do not need to consult a legal team and being privately owned we have enabled all our Consultants to act as decision makers on Ts and Cs. Our terms are very fair and we will listen to any comments or suggestions about changes.
- We recruit for contract and permanent roles covering all skills you'd find within an IT function. Geographically we have a very strong candidate and client base in London and across the Thames Valley and have traditionally worked roles in that area. As a small, personal, company we have built strong relationships with candidates living in these areas.
- We are not a "sweat shop" where fifty Recruitment Consultants spend their days making random approaches to the FSTE 100 or mailing out large numbers of irrelevant CVs to a large number of jobs they don't actually understand. All our approaches to potential clients are based either on accurate information about current recruitment requirements or about specific work we are already doing that may benefit them - we don't have time for random cold calling.
- Every single CV we send to a client represents a person. It is someone we have talked to, taken requirements from, explained a role and company to and have a relationship with. We make informed choices as to which roles people should be submitted to and we care about finding our candidates the right jobs not just any job.
- Although we are not IT developers we have a very strong understanding of the IT skills market and we often advise clients on the basis of this. In short, we are not a passive "CV shop" that responds to a requirement by sending CVs into a black hole until someone is hired. We work closely with a client and see it as essential to their recruitment to discuss candidates and interviews on an on-going and open basis.
